Abstract

The motor innervation of the cat and white rat orbicularis oris muscle is studied by means of the argentum and acetylcholinesterase impregnation methods. lt is proved that the motor plates are clustered and adjacent one another in the rabdomyocite. Most of them are of Coers O type and some have and accesory fiber of Perroncito. Two morphological types of motor plates are described, some are similar to those found in other mammals and others are similar to the ones found in less evolved zoological species.
