Abstract

Several studies in humans have shown the viability of implants placed in fresh extraction sockets. The combination with Socket Seal Surgery allows us to achieve at the same time the primary closure of the soft tissues and the preservation of the papillae. This procedure has the advantage of clearly shortening total treatment period, but requires greater precision in the surgical technique employed. We present here a case in which the substitution of the two upper central incisors was made with implants and the final resolution of the case with implant-supported prostheses.
