Resumen

Façade of San Isidoro Church in Oviedo : intervention works & conservation & cleaning suggestions. This article shows some of the methodological aspects that are usually developed in studies about the diagnosis of stone for building and that are necessary to set the different intervention stages, as well as the procedures or methods to apply in conservation works. The different aspects involved are synthesized so that the content can easily be used by all professionals involved in rehabilitation. The example chosen is the façade of the Baroque church of San Isidoro in Oviedo, situated in the centre of the city, beside the City Hall and not far from the Cathedral, wich is going to be rehabilitated in the near future.
