Abstract
The church of the Monastery of Santa María de Sandoval (León, Spain) had a complex building process, begun in the 12th and finished in the 15th century. The church west door was sculpltured with an interesting iconography, showing some aspects of Saint Bernard religiosity, unusuals in the monumental sculpture of the Cistercian Monasteries.
