Abstract

We study the Gravettian westernmost occupations sites known in the Cantabrian region, with special emphasis on the lithic collections from La Viña, Llonin and Cueto de la Mina sites, which provide the most important Gravettian series in the region, allowing us to know the Cantabrian-Pyrenean development of this techno-complex. At the same time, we pay attention to other sites whose industries arise some problems due to their limited and barely diagnostic nature or to their stratigraphic post-depositional alterations.
