Estudio de los departamentos de educación y acción cultural de los museos, centros de interpretación y centro de artes de Extremadura (2011-2014)

Abstract

With the accomplishment of this doctoral thesis it is tried to investigate and to deepen on the departments of education and cultural action in the museums, centers of interpretation and center of arts in Extremadura, having as center of the research those that are directly related with the artistic field. The study has been developed with the fundamental purpose of offering a global vision of these departments, that is, being able to describe how they work, what staff performs their tasks, what kind of material is worked and to whom their activities are directed, among other things. That their constitution within these institutions and their functioning is unknown to much of society. Some proposals for improvement have also been made based on the conclusions obtained, with the aim of contributing to improve its operation.
