Abstract

We carry out a retrospective analysis of 14 eyes (106 patients) with diabetic retinopath. intervened of cataracts, analyzing the incider ce of neovascular glaucoma depending o the surgical technique employed. The risk of the appearance of GNV was SE ven times smaller in patients intervened by extracapsular technique than in the rest (P = 0,003). We analyze other factors that can condition the appearance of GNV appreciating a significant association between this complication the type of retinopathy and the application or not of laser.
